have a baby quilt that my mother in law made for my son ; the basement leaked HELP please she has passed away.

Last night my friend slept over and bled ALLLLl over my Pottery Barn quilt, and it leaked all the way through. This was about six hours ago, but how can I get the stain out? The quilt is pink and has pictures all over it so bleaching it isn't an option. Is it ok to wash it in cold water? The quilt's cotton.

I'm making a queen sized quilt for one of my friends as a present and I don't know how much fabric I'll need for the bac side. Can someone help?

Have you ever put a white shirt in the laundry and it came out pink? I had washed a baby quilt that I intend to use for my baby, but my mother washed it and now the white on the quilt is now pink. It's very important to me and it is an older quilt and cannot find another like it. Does anyone have any tricks to get something like this out?

I have souvenir t-shirts that I no longer want to wear or keep stored away. I thought that using them in a quilt would keep my memories in full view every day as well as serve a functional purpose. I have found shops & web-sites offering books, supplies and classes. I just want to find a person who will utilize my design to make a quilt for me. Where/how do I find a quiltmaker?

I have a quilt from my childhood that has recently been brought out of storage. Many of the blocks have deteriorated and I would like to repair/replaice the blocks myself. I'm a fair seamstress and feel I'm up to the challenge. It's not for monetary gain that I want to do this. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to go about replacing the squares. I can't find anything helpful online everyong wants to sell you something. Any REAL help would be much appreciated.

To make it easier on myself, instead of knitting a whole blanket, I decided to make a knitted quilt. Is there a specific stitch to join them?

I bought a duck feather "quilt" today, but what's the difference between that and a duvet....the "duvet" was just as fluffy. And is duck feather a good choice?

I want to make a simple block quilt with three different fabrics. Each block will be 12" square, so in total there will be 54 blocks for a 6X9 quilt. Since I severely suck at math, how many total yards will I need for the quilt top?

My mother-in-law wants to make a quilt made up of quilt boxes picturing guns for an avid collector. The boxes can be any size, 4"x4", 5"x5", whatever. Or, does anyone know where fabric with guns on it can be purchased? Thanks!
